Ayanna Quamina (Dr. Q)
Indigo Wellness
“One of the most important factors of an effective medical practitioner is Listening. Listening to not just what is being said, but also what is not. Medical training and expertise mean nothing without taking the time and effort to discover the underlying cause of discomfort or unease.”
Dr. Ayanna Quamina is a board-registered Naturopathic doctor specializing in family practice. She utilizes her scientific background and laboratory techniques to treat her patients with a variety of noninvasive and effective modalities, including nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and lifestyle management. Her previous experience as a health coach has assisted over 5,000 people back to wellness, and she continues to empower her patients in recognizing internal signs for long-lasting optimal health. She sees all ages and backgrounds, and her mission is to educate both her patients and the community-at-large on ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle for themselves and their families.
She has practiced in Minnesota for the past 15 years and has served on multiple non-profit boards - patient education and advocacy are top priorities for her, and she’s played an integral role in expanding the local scope of Naturopathic practice for the state of Minnesota.
It is her belief that ideal health care is fully integrative, and she enjoys working collaboratively with adjunctive practitioners for the overall well-being of each patient.
