Odigo Wellness Celebrates Grand Opening in Uptown Minneapolis

Minneapolis, MN — Odigo Wellness, a collectively-owned wellness center, is excited to announce the grand opening of its new location at 3115 Hennepin Ave S in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis. The event will take place on October 19th, from Noon to 4pm, offering community members the opportunity to experience free wellness sessions, consultations, and tours of the beautifully renovated space.

Odigo Wellness–owned by a diverse group of practitioners–represents a new era in community-centered health and wellness. The wellness center is the result of a creative collaboration between local funding partners such as Vision Bank, Fortis Capital, and the City of Minneapolis 2% loan program. The Elevate Hennepin Program provided additional technical assistance, with valuable contributions from partners like Hortensia Law, NewPublica, NewPrensa, Clear Talk Accounting, and Davis Law. Support from the City of Minneapolis’ BTAP Program, in partnership with JLLB Media, further propelled this initiative forward. Odigo Wellness also benefited from the skilled work of KayLynn Raschke of Divine Order & Style, artist Andrés Guzman, Anna Min of Min Enterprises Photography, as well as countless friends, chosen family and colleagues. Emily Kosokar of Keller Williams Realty brokered the real estate deal.

“This space and this dream would not have been possible without support from the brilliant folks who have dedicated their careers to fostering genuine community development,” said Marakah Mancini de León, Director of Cooperative Strategy. “Buying commercial real estate is not for the faint of heart, but we were committed to creating stability for practitioners and building programs that serve our incredible community. This was only possible because of community-minded funding streams and the individuals who do the work.”

Odigo Wellness has already attracted practitioners and teachers from diverse ethnic, racial, and linguistic backgrounds, including bilingual and queer practitioners from multiple continents. The grand opening will feature free sessions and consultations, showcasing the wide array of services Odigo will offer as it continues to grow its team and expand its wellness programs.

A Space Rooted in Community

Located in a building previously home to Pathways Minneapolis, Odigo Wellness has undergone significant improvements with the support of the Lake Street Council, including upgraded access for practitioners and clients, fresh exterior paint in Odigo’s distinct color palette, and updated signage, as well as essential pre development funding. Earlier this year, a small group of visionary wellness practitioners pooled their resources to purchase the building and establish a center that promotes both health and equity.

“Estamos emocionades de juntarnos al Renacimiento de Uptown, al lado de organizaciones como Queermunity y Justicia Law, nuestres vecines nuevos a una cuadra,” dijo Guadalupe Gonzalez, Practicante de Reiki en Comunidad. “Tenemos expectativas grandes para el vecindario de Odigo.”

“We’re excited to join the Uptown Renaissance, alongside organizations like Queermunity and Justicia Law, our new neighbors just a block away,” said Guadalupe Gonzalez, Community Reiki Practitioner. “We have high hopes for the future of Odigo’s neighborhood.”

In addition to the grand opening, Odigo is dedicated to providing low-cost wellness offerings, such as Community Acupuncture and Community Reiki. The Odigo Wellness building is BIPOC-, queer-, immigrant- and women-owned, and aims to increase access to healing services in the Twin Cities. Odigo also offers sliding-scale reiki classes, with a deeper sliding-scale for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community members, reflecting the center’s commitment to health equity and diversity.

A Vision for the Future

Odigo Wellness isn’t just a place for healing — it’s a hub for education and mentorship. The center’s mission is to increase the number and diversity of wellness practitioners in the Twin Cities through creative programs and mentorship opportunities with seasoned practitioners. As part of this mission, Odigo will offer a variety of courses, including small reiki classes available in both English and Spanish. At Odigo, we believe that everyone has the power to heal themselves and heal others–and we’re thrilled to amplify that magic.
