Marakah Mancini de León

Director of Cooperative Strategy, Co-owner

As our Director of Cooperative Strategy, Marakah is responsible for making sure our overall operations and finances work for the collective. She draws on her 25 years of organizing experience in multicultural, progressive labor unions, and several years providing technical assistance to worker-owned cooperatives such as the Third Root Community Health Center. She also draws on her current studies in anti-oppressive clinical practice at Augsburg University, and the previous studies that culminated in her PhD in economics. While juggling client work and Odigo’s needs can be challenging, we believe that the best leadership comes from those of us who are truly grounded in the work–and the everyday realities our practitioners face.
